Dodger Stadium is one of the Meccas of baseball. Just like Madison Square Garden is the Mecca for basketball, Dodger Stadium has been home to many successful Dodger teams and events. Although the Dodgers have great fan support and rank second in the majors for attendance, the right field pavilion is usually deserted. That’s not the case anymore after implementing an all-you-can-eat pass for people who sit in outer right field. The $8 tickets now sell for $25-$40 but you can eat as many Dodger Dogs, nachos, peanuts, popcorn, and soda until you explode. Seats are hard to come by now and you have to hand it to management for implementing the promotion. Baseball is about socializing with your friends as much as it is about the game. People like to hang out with each other and eat! I can safely say that they aren’t losing money because it costs pennies for drinks and junk food.

Dodge dogs and soft drinks usually sell for $4.75 so if you paid $40 for a seat, you have to eat at least seven hot-dogs to get your money’s worth. Seven hot-dogs is a sure recipe for obesity but I’m sure some attendees have a solution to the matter: puke and rally!
