Novak Djokovic (silent D) is the world’s number 3 ranked tennis player in the world but that’s not why he’s known to fans at the US Open. Novak Djokovic is in the semifinals at the US Open but that’s not why the fans love him. He’s known on the ATP tour for bouncing the tennis ball 20 to 25 times before serving each ball. That’s more bounces than most rallies and he does it each and every time for first serves and second serves! Luckily for Djokovic, he’s known better for something else: tennis player impersonations!

Btw, he did win tonight against Carlos Moya in a lack-luster match 6-4, 7-6 (7), 6-1.
The highlight of the match was the post-match interview when he did his famous impersonations of Nadal and Sharapova for the New York crowd at Arthur Ashe Stadium. The locker-room chatter has him grouped with Federer and Nadal because he’s that good and his stock is skyrocketing to the moon.

Yahoo! Sports: It was a scene most likely never before seen at a Grand Slam tennis tournament — or any sporting event of any significance, for that matter. First, Djokovic did Sharapova, hopping behind the baseline the way she does, bouncing the ball the way she does, pretending to tuck strands of hair behind his ears, and capping it off by doing a perfect rendering of the two-time major champion’s serve.
Next, Djokovic did his take on Nadal, sprinting the way he does, even yanking at the back of his shorts the way the three-time French Open champ does.
