Why not have a coffin to celebrate/acknowledge the death of a marriage? After the "service" go hock the ring and get what you can. It makes a great gift for a dear friend going through a divorce. Mone was engraved with "Bury the past and move on to a new tomorrow" and that's exactly what I've done. The $50 I received for my gold ring paid for a nice dinner, but the "burial" was truely an uplifiting moment. I completely disagree.
