Spoilers and Show Recap
The last episode of season three was so good and was a great ending and cliff-hanger for the start of season four. Jan had her big guns and won Michael back, Jim asked Pam out on a date, the temp got the job at the corporate office, and Dwight had his half-day as regional manager of the office. Jan didn’t have much of a role in tonight’s episode which is a bummer because she rocks. I love it how she drives Michael crazy but he keeps coming back for more because things are too good in the hay to leave. Yes, Jim and Pam are dating but where is the suspense in that? I thought they would have at least dragged that storyline for half of the season before they made it official. Hopefully Jim and Pam will continue their witty and humours banter amongst one another. The temp dude (can never remember his name, Ryan?) had a minor role as well which wasn’t good. For those who don’t know, the temp is actually one of the writers for the show so he’s always going to be a main character of the show. The one good thing for leaving for corporate is that he doesn’t have to date that annoying Indian girl which I can’t remember her name right now (too lazy to Google it). I did enjoy how Dwight killed Angela’s cat for its own good but Dwight wasn’t up to his funny self. I think Dwight is at his best when he argues and makes fun of Jim.
There’s so much potential for The Office so I’m really crossing my fingers that the rest of the season will be funnier. Regardless, it’s still one of the best shows on the tube these days. I was quite surprised it did not win the Emmy for best comedy this year.
