When you have more time, you usually have less money. When you have more money, you usually have less time. Just using myself as an example, when I was a student and only working part-time I had more time to research products, check out prices, bid on items on eBay, and compare prices. Now that I’m working full-time, I’m getting a steady paycheque but it seems as though there’s no time to spend that money on the items I used to browse all the time. I used to be a hardcore eBay freak and always had items that were ending everyday. I would spend a couple of hours a day finding deals on tennis gear, gadgets, and computer hardware but now, my eBay watch list has been empty for weeks and I now longer get those annoying emails to alert me that my item is ending soon.

Everyone’s goal in life to have lots of time AND money. I guess that’s why we attend higher education, take risks in business ventures, and watch the stock market roller coaster. Most people fall into the status quo of living paycheque to paycheque in a mundane life which begs to question if that’s really living. Others live their lives more freely and fully but without the safety net for the future well-being in mind while some stash away every penny for the future which is uncertain. There is a small percent of people who can afford to live more freely now and later without much worry. It is an by-product of their creativity and business savvy. The free world is all about capitalism and anything is possible if you want it bad enough. Famous words to live by:
“There are 3 types of people in this world: those who watch things happen, those who make things happen, and those who wonder what happened.”
